What's Your Story?
Born in a challenge environment I always considered I didn’t have a family except my mother. She was a proud white women of Dutch French background with her large family but as for her daughter no more than a servant. I began to understand I was my mother’s mistake, born a girl, dark in colouring ok I got lighter, had a mind of her own made her even more mad to be alive and thriving. This conditioning made me strong with diversity and patient with human challenges no matter what life threw on my doorstep. I was given a gift early in life I remember always been restless climbing trees, asking questions about the world, storytelling to children and problem solving to adults from the age of 6. These creative endeavours were a curse in my mothers' eyes but I was well liked from adults all around me. In the early years of school My schooling was in Melbourne Australia with difficulty reading and lack of attention for structures which didn’t make me very popular. My rebellious nature and thought of structures left me unhappy and non responsive to the confinements of four walls. Time moved fast to high school where my mother being a single parent couldn’t afford to keep me there so I decided to work at 13 year old to pay my way. The dad I never had My first job in the newsagent was run by a lovely man called Mr Baron. He took me under his wing and saw my potential and organization skills to do more in life. Still rebellious at 13 with a great deal of energy this wonderful man became my surrogate father figure showing me the world of business, common sense and Martial arts. In a short period of time I was doing the running of the business and redirecting this constant energy into martial arts and harnessing of Chi energy. My persistent came from been told 'I Can’t' My biggest lessons my mother everything I wanted to do she hated and said No. Along my journey every time I heard a ‘no you can’t’ I went about finding a yes I sure can. When I was 18 I was told by the specialist that I will be in a wheel chair by the time I’m 21 and most likely not live passed 24 because of the damage to my spine from beating and falling down the bus stairs. I went about changing my mindset and getting super fit to have less pain. As my life continued fit in 1999 I had bone cancer but as you can see that didn't stop me it took me 8 weeks to get better. There are always challenges in life and I take it as it comes, even going through the Tsunami in 2015 but that is only to share more with humanity the skills I have learn and much to give from the heart. In Nov 2017 I became one of the bestselling authors on Amazon with 8 other inspirational authors with A Journey of Riches titled The Benefit of Challenge a chapter on being a Tsunami survivor. My business years In spite of the challenges I grew up with a vision of being determined to succeed no matter what happens. My determination found me either running business for others, management training in hospitality, coaching others, consulting in projects overseas, a business owner food manufacturing and MLM. The thing I learnt about money it comes and goes and you need to become resilient going beyond the sacristy even financial crash. My Inspirational Teacher I have been blessed with many teachers from all walks of life from an early age of 13. The biggest teacher throughout my life has been my mother with all the Challenges she put upon me makes me who I am today on this journey. My studies expanded further past my 20’s from Australian academy of Hypnotherapy, counselling, training, Natural therapies & too been offered a spot in an NLP class at 23 all this was a girl that read her first book at 12.What followed was a collection of alternative teachers, elders that cannot be named I was truly insatiable and blessed. The journey of personal development from Stewart Wild, Denise Lynn, Louise Hay, Brandon Bays, Dimartini, Christopher Howard, Assarat, T Harv Eker, Eckhart Tolle to 2017 with Authentic Education. What is the toughest decision you have ever made? The decision to tell my mother she had cancer after her diagnosis. I knew if I told her at 63 she had cancer her health past chemo would be 6 months. I knew as Wholistic approach to living at 22 could but my mother knew nothing of my double life. I went about taking charge of the situation persuading the doctors to no chemo or major surgery. She managed to live to 93 to torment my studies of conditioning to understand diversity and detachment. What is the easiest decision you have ever made? The easiest doesn’t come to mind but I know when the going gets tough a Peace comes over me and with detachment I act according what needs to be done. When in drought with pressure step away from the Human and sit under a tree. Who is your role model and why? Role model I really do not know. At the time ‘I went what’ then realise as the little voice came out with, You are No-Thing, you are Everything not just One Thing, even in the Thing you are Not! Ok , it got deep and meaningful that is another staory. The learning of detachment within what life is and is not on the journey. When have you been the most satisfied in your life? Everything! Sometimes when people ask me questions about my life, I see that I have experienced many things and I still have a to do list, riding a bike and swim. Lol, simple things to do is cool. What things do you not like to do? Being dyslexic, is the gramma taunts me like little gremlins in my anxiety to get it right. I give words in the story a new meaning and I laugh at myself most times. What is the most important thing about what you want to do? Run away on a tropical island with myself but I know I will get bored within 48 hrs of OMG too much sun and no glue for me to create something with each grain of sand.lol Seriously, I am driven within my cells and inner GPS anything to do in life and share the skills with other for their experiences.
