What's Your Story?
Life has been a whirl wind but the mantras and quotes I live by and apply to my daily life I have shared in my story that I have outlined some more of the current events that shape who I am. I have faced challenges as a young boy growing up and experiences beyond my years at the time but each experience has shaped the man, father and husband I am today. The road has not always been easy but it opens the mind to challenge every thought and to challenge myself each and every day. To not be complicit with life or circumstances. My story is one that I Would share over a face to face conversation or over coffee and a chat of course 26 years of story there is so much to say but writing the details and recollections in a short space would never cover the story or give it the justice it deserves What is the toughest decision you have ever made? Deciding to move out for my safety and wellbeing at 16 years old. And learn to live independently and keep valuing life and the amazing things it has to offer even during some really hard times. What is the easiest decision you have ever made? Aiming to be the best father I can for my children and support them with whatever I can do. Who is your role model and why? It is said in life that each person we meet has a purpose, a reason for being so and as such each person has something to gift us in our lives so each person in their own way is a role model and shapes how we structure and develop in life each person has a lesson to give a reason for what we do or don’t do. My role models are found in particular aspects of the individuals that I have met in life. What is your SUPER Power? I don’t think I have a SUPER power. When have you been the most satisfied in your life? I have been most satisfied in life when I am helping others in situations that they are facing even if I am in a situation myself I know that i0 can alleviate my circumstance purely knowing I have assisted someone else with their situation. What things do you not like to do? Ironing and household chores … funnily enough been doing them on my own since I was 16. What is the most important thing about what you want to do? Helping young people see the value of life. It may be just the thing they need to hear that could change their lives forever something that shifts the path to make a change that benefits them so that their course is changed. Do you believe books can change the world? This is a good question books impart knowledge and knowledge is power if applied correctly. So in short YES. This will always be the answer. What is your ultimate goal? To give back to the community and continue to dare to drive my dreams and assist others to dare to drive their dreams. If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? It would be to get rid of self-serving policies and ensure that every person in every community was well resourced to be assisted. As can be seen daily What do you prefer? Beach or Mountains? Each have their own serenity but I would have to say mountains. Sweet or spicy? Savoury with some spice Window or aisle? Aisle for sure I don’t sit well for long periods of time so easy to get up and walk. Ice-Cream or Custard? Custard Dessert First or last? Desert last if at all. I am not a dessert and sweets after dinner kind of person. |
What Ripple Effect Would you start in the world and why?
I think I would continue doing what I do already and just keep trying to make the world a better place. There is so much already going on helping where you can with existing projects can assist more than creating something additional when the current projects are exhausted and all has been completed these minds will all come together to create something needed based on outcomes and needs identified in the current projects. |
