Mac Davis Ngwa is a Cameroonian-Nigerian Radio and Television host. Since 2012, he has been presenting a Radio Show known as Make A Difference Show on Radio Sapientia 95.3FM Onitsha, Nigeria. He presents News and News Review on TV Sapientia.
Mac is the founder of Macdavis Charity Foundation. A charity that supports orphanages. Volunteers of the Foundation train youths on skills acquisition Mac has written several articles for the Sapientia Magazine published periodically by Sapientia International Media Centre, Onitsha. What's Your Story?That in life we take it easy understanding that we are on a journey. I have always tried to put a smile of someone’s face when I can. Through the years I have tried to make a difference wherever I find myself. Especially stretching out helping hand to the needy. At every time, I realise that I am better than somebody and my way of showing gratitude to God is by helping those who really need it. I have worked as a media person for about a decade and my main message has always been to make the world a better place through what we do. I believe that good music suits the soul. I have guided in counselled young people in Africa on being responsible people What is the toughest decision you have ever made? Resigning as Co-ordinator of a Computer College to pick up a job as a reporter borne out of passion What is the easiest decision you have ever made? Bringing together a group of people and told them to bring together whatever they could for us to help the needy who were in our community at that time - 2008 Who is your role model and why? Different people for different reasons – Nelson Mandela for the love of his people and spirit of forgiveness; Bob Marley for his message of One Love; Michael Jackson for his passion and dedication for art What is your SUPER Power? Being happy when everyone around me is happy When have you been the most satisfied in your life? When I start a project and it is well completed What things do you not like to do? The one I created - One Candle Will Not Expel The Darkness, But it will Make A Difference What is the most important thing about what you want to do? Making people realise that there is really no joy in terrorism, kidnapping and generally making others unhappy. Do you believe books can change the world? Sure, books filled with knowledge and wisdom can really change the world if only people read. I have been personally affected positively by books What is your ultimate goal? Leave peacefully with people. If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? Banning weapons of human destruction. What do you prefer? Beach or Mountains? Mountains. May be because I grew up on Mount Cameroon. I love the trees, the singing birds, the butterflies and the cold weather of mountainous areas Sweet or spicy? Both. There are times when I want it sweet and times when I want it spicy. Window or aisle? Aisle. I can walk freely and look around Ice-Cream or Custard? Ice cream on a hot day Dessert First or last? Last after a good meal. |
