Yamuna Puri has been a Kinesiologist and Yoga practitioner for over 21 years now.
As the stress of past traumas is released using the Kinesiology techniques, the body can heal itself.The traumas can be physical, emotional or spiritual. I use muscle testing to identify the stress and where it is held. We then use the feedback of the body to tell us how to balance that stress.
Some issues require several sessions others can be resolved quite immediately.I have also taught Foundation courses in Kinesiology for many years.
We are also running the Yoga in Daily Life centre in Maroochydore together with my husband Tyag we have a great team of Yoga teachers who volunteer their time to teach classes at the centre.
Yoga in Daily Life is a classical style of Yoga. Every class incorporates a lot of stretching, relaxation, meditation and Pranayam. Depending on the level of the class we practice specific postures organised in 8 levels, Level 1 being the easiest, 8 requiring great strength and flexibility only achieved by daily practice (don’t teach these postures very often). Intermediate classes cover Levels 1-5.
In my own experience and from teaching Yoga in Daily Life for over 14 years, I believe that classical Yoga is one of the best tools for self-healing created on this planet.
Both modalities work very well to support each other.
At the Expo I will be offering half hour balances for $25. This will give people a good idea what Kinesiology can do for them.
Also we would like to offer the opportunity to balance themselves for very little cost by partaking in one of our many yoga classes and eventually learning to practice at home for themselves.
